From 1984 until 2002, National School Safety Center published two types of periodicals: the SCHOOL SAFETY NEWSJOURNAL (1984-1998) and the SCHOOL SAFETY UPDATE (1991-2002). Published at various times throughout the school year, these publications provided in-depth coverage on topical issues related to school safety and included background information, research, and model programs and prevention strategies.
