Bullying in Schools: Discussion Activities for School Communities is a model activity that can be used by educators or school law enforcement officers to promote a bully-resistant school. The activity demonstrates how to open, lead and guide viable discussions with the school community about bullying and its consequences. The Chalk Talk lessons and guidelines are designed for the classroom setting, parent meetings or staff in-service training. Model handouts are provided. Also included is an article entitled When Manners Matter: Can good manners help keep schools safe?
