This resource is designed to help law enforcement and school partners recognize and understand the role of schools in homeland security and readiness. While schools still remain safe places for our children to thrive, school communities must learn to prepare for the unthinkable - the possibility of a terror attack on or near their school campuses. The information presented promotes the responsibility of school safety partnerships to prevent and mitigate acts of terrorism, respond to emergencies, and play a critical role in community preparedness and disaster recovery.
